Mulroney, Watson to star in Lifetime film

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 24 (UPI) -- Hollywood stars Dermot Mulroney and Emily Watson are set to star in Lifetime's small-screen adaptation of the novel, "The Memory Keeper's Daughter."

"The Bodyguard," "Live From Baghdad" and "Tuesdays with Morrie" director Mick Jackson is helming the TV movie version of Kim Edwards' best-selling, critically acclaimed novel of the same name, Lifetime said.

"The Memory Keeper's Daughter," which is about a secret that shapes the lives of two families over a quarter of a century beginning in 1964, is slated to premiere in March on Lifetime Television.

Mulroney has starred in the films "My Best Friend's Wedding," "The Family Stone," "Must Love Dogs," "Zodiac" and "Georgia Rule."

Watson has headlined "Breaking the Waves," "Hilary and Jackie," "Punch Drunk Love," "Gosford Park," "Red Dragon" and "Miss Potter."
