PASADENA , Calif., Sept. 6 (UPI) -- The United Negro College Fund says it will honor Motown recording artist, Smokey Robinson, at its upcoming 29th annual "An Evening of Stars" in California.
To be held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Sept. 22, the event will also recognize celebrated jazz artist, Nancy Wilson.

The gala will be taped and broadcast in January.
Some of the stars scheduled to perform are Stevie Wonder, Anita Baker, Yolanda Adams, John Legend, Joss Stone and Chris Issak.
Presenters include Kareem Abdul-Jabaar, Condoleezza Rice, Hill Harper, Berry Gordy, Tom Joyner and Billy Dee Williams.
