LOS ANGELES, July 25 (UPI) -- U.S. pop singer Britney Spears raised eyebrows several times recently for several unusual incidents at sea and ashore.
Her antics, however, may carry some serious consequences, having worried a family friend and her sons' dad, ex-husband Kevin Federline, People reported Wednesday.
The 25-year-old pop star stopped and stripped to her skivvies in Malibu, Calif., for an afternoon dip July 18.
The next day, sources report, she had a "meltdown" during a photo shoot for OK! Magazine. During the photo session, she apparently worried about the ceiling caving in, allowed her new puppy to relieve itself on the floor and wiped her hands on a high-fashion gown after eating fried chicken.
On Friday, she boated with sons Sean Preston, 22 months, and Jayden James, 10 months, neither of whom was wearing a life jacket. Flotation devices are not required by California law on larger watercraft.
Spears "won't listen to anybody," a family friend told People. The friend said the singer's family is frustrated and "worried about the children."
Federline said he thinks his former wife is exposing his children to "unnecessary risk," another source said, adding, "(his) lawyer hopes to get Kevin primary custody soon."
