LAGOS, Nigeria, July 16 (UPI) -- U.S. pop singer Kelly Rowland collapsed from dehydration while performing early Sunday in Lagos, Nigeria, People.com reported Monday.
Her representative, Yvette Noel Schure, said in a statement that the former Destiny's Child vocalist was taken to an undisclosed Lagos hospital for treatment and was said to be in good condition.

The 26-year-old beauty recently released her second solo album and was in the West African nation as part of the ThisDay Music Festival, which also featured performances by Shakira, Mode Nine, UB40, P-Square, Rihanna, D'Banj, Ne Yo, Asa and Sasha.
Rowland is expected to return to the United States Monday to continue promoting her "Ms. Kelly" album.
