Jazz singer Krall to resume touring

NEW YORK, May 2 (UPI) -- Grammy award-winning jazz artist Diana Krall is preparing to begin a U.S. tour to promote her latest album, "From This Moment On," released last fall.

Having taken time off with husband Elvis Costello for the birth of their twin boys, Krall plans to kick off the 38-date tour in Oakland, Calif., June 8 -- performing material from her extensive career, as well as selections from "From This Moment On," her first studio album of standards in five years, All That Jazz Web site reported Tuesday. Krall ends her tour Sept. 2 at the Monterey Jazz Fest in Monterey, Calif.
