LONDON, April 19 (UPI) -- Pop singer Madonna is said to be "furious" with her filmmaker husband because he's been too busy with work to jet to Africa to hook up with her.
Guy Ritchie was to have flown to Malawi this week with the couple's 6-year-old son to visit the orphanage where Ritchie and Madonna adopted a baby last year,
The Sun reported Thursday. But he postponed the flight three times, the London newspaper said.
"Madonna is furious with him," a source close to the family told The Sun. "They fell out before she left London when he first postponed due to a last-minute meeting. Since then Guy and Madonna have rowed over the phone, screaming and shouting at each other. She really hoped Rocco (their 6-year-old) would be with her to see the kids at the orphanage."
Madonna reportedly went to Malawi hoping to adopt a girl named Grace after seeing a video of her playing in an orphanage. The entertainer, who is traveling with their 10-year-old daughter Lourdes and 18-month-old son David, also is said to be planning to buy a house in the country.
