NBC, Fox lead in PGA award nominees

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 5 (UPI) -- NBC and Fox have topped this year's nominations for the Producers Guild of America awards, to be announced next month in Los Angeles.

Daily Variety reported that Fox and NBC each have four contenders for the awards, with ABC, CBS and HBO following with three each.

Up for the PGA awards for comedy are Fox's "Arrested Development," NBC's "My Name Is Earl" and "The Office," Showtime's "Weeds" and HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm."

Up for awards in the drama category are ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" and "Lost," Fox's "House" and "24" and HBO's "The Sopranos."

Nominees in the variety show category are NBC's "Late Night With Conan O'Brien" and HBO's "Real Time With Bill Maher."

The PGA's non-fiction nods include Fox's "American Idol," CBS's "60 Minutes" and ABC's "Dancing With the Stars."
