Chris Rock's marriage no longer solid

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 4 (UPI) -- U.S. comedian Chris Rock and his wife are pulling the plug on their marriage after nearly a decade.

The news came through the TMZ Web site just as Rock was involved in post-production for his new movie "I Think I Love My Wife."

Rock and Malaak Compton-Rock were married in 1996 and have daughters aged 2 and 4.

A representative for Rock had no immediate comment on the report; however TMZ said that, according to sources, Rock had hired a high-powered divorce lawyer for the apparently pending ordeal.
