Skeletons to take over 'Late Night'

NEW YORK, Oct. 23 (UPI) -- For the upcoming Halloween holiday, the U.S. TV talk show "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" will recreate a former broadcast with a cast of skeletons.

The comical transformation of its Oct. 31 show fits in with the NBC late night show's theme of pushing the envelope on original comedy, which Zap2it.com said has previously included a visit to Finland and a show in claymation.

Appearing as skeletons on the unusual broadcast alongside host Conan O'Brien will be actor Omar Epps from the medical drama "House," film actress Sheila Kelley and famed talk show host Larry King.

"This may be the finest hour of television NBC has ever produced ... with skeletons," said O'Brien.

The Web site said while the TV host once said the same thing about the series' claymation episode, the new episode will likely draw as many laughs as its visit to Finland, which had O'Brien meet his Doppelganger, female Finnish President Tarja Halonen.
