Poll pegs Paris among the 'overexposed'

NEW YORK, Oct. 7 (UPI) -- A new poll lists Paris Hilton and other fellow celebrities as among the "overexposed" in U.S. pop culture.

The New York Post said Saturday the public survey listed Paris as completely overexposed, with familiar faces such as Anna Nicole Smith, pop singer Britney Spears and singer-film actress Lindsey Lohan also in the pack.

More established honorees on the list compiled by market research firm E-Poll include Tom Cruise and Pamela Anderson.

The survey also warned that a number of up-and-coming stars such as Eva Longoria of TV's "Desperate Housewives" were coming perilously close to overexposure.
