LOS ANGELES, Oct. 5 (UPI) -- Actress Farrah Fawcett has revealed in Los Angeles that she is locked in a battle with intestinal cancer.
The "Charlie's Angels" star tells Extra she has been exercising diligently as part of her regimen because it prompts her to eat healthy.

Fawcett's workout partner has been Ryan O'Neal, who has had a long relationship with Fawcett and who had his own brush with leukemia. She has also been getting celebrity support from former "Angels" co-stars Jaclyn Smith and Kate Jackson as well as CBS anchor Katie Couric, who lost her husband to colon cancer.
Extra noted that Fawcett was a spokeswoman for the American Cancer Society in the 1980s.
