Lopez, Anthony to sing for Day of Peace

TORONTO, Sept. 15 (UPI) -- Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are set to join several U.S. musicians in recording tracks for a project for the United Nations International Day of Peace.

The celebrity couple, who are also set to make their on-screen debut in the film "The Singer," will record the single "One Day" with producer Swizz Beatz to help the United Nations project, E! Online reported.

Sean Paul, Floetry, Chris Brown, Eve, Mario, Cassidy, Lyfe Jennings and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony are also set to participate in the project.

Lopez and Anthony praised one another's efforts in the United Nations project and on the set of "The Singer," based on the life of salsa legend Héctor Lavoe.

"I've been in the business 27 years, and I've never met anybody with such laser focus and clarity," Anthony said of his wife of over two years. "I'm more laid-back, Hectorian, and it's just fascinating to me. She does not do anything halfway. That's really a virtue, I think."

"I always knew Marc was a fantastic actor," Lopez told E! Online. "Nobody could sing like that with all that passion and all that feeling (and not be)."
