TORONTO, July 7 (UPI) -- A remake of the 1949 film "All the King's Men" starring Sean Penn will premiere at the Toronto Film Festival in September.
The festival, which runs from September 7-16, will also feature the world premieres of "Bernard and Doris," "The Pleasure of Your Company" and Agnieszka Holland's "Copying Beethoven," Daily Variety reported.
"All the King's Men," an adaptation of Robert Penn Warren's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, stars Penn as the corrupt politician Willie Stark. The cast also includes Jude Law, Kate Winslet, Patricia Clarkson, Mark Ruffalo and Anthony Hopkins.
The 1949 version won thre Oscars, including best picture.
"Bernard and Doris" stars Susan Sarandon as billionaire tobacco heiress Doris Duke.
"The Pleasure of Your Company" features actor Jason Biggs in the story of a man whose life changes when he meets a quirky waitress. "Copying Beethoven" follows a music student who helps Ludwig van Beethoven publish the score for his Ninth Symphony.
