Kerry Washington signs with L'Oreal

NEW YORK, March 17 (UPI) -- Actress Kerry Washington, who played Ray Charles' wife in "Ray," has signed a worldwide contract with cosmetic maker L'Oreal Paris.

Ads featuring Washington will debut later this year, L'Oreal announced in a news release.

Washington won the outstanding actress in a motion picture award at the NAACP Image Awards in 2005 and was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award in 2002 for "Lift."

Her other film credits include "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," "Fantastic Four," "Save the Last Dance" and "She Hates Me."
