NEW YORK, Dec. 7 (UPI) -- The Web site Amazon.com is offering a sneak peek at an Elton John-Bernie Taupin song from the musical, "Lestat," to help U.S. hurricane victims.
More than a dozen celebrities are helping with the "Amazon.com A-List For Hurricane Relief" project, which is raising funds to help those struck by Hurricane Katrina and Rita during the holiday season, Playbill reported Wednesday.
The song being made available for listening starting Wednesday through Dec. 21 is "Make Me As You Are," Playbill said. Web surfers will be asked to make a donation to the fund as they click onto the Amazon.com link.
"Lestat" is scheduled to open at the Curran Theatre in San Francisco Dec. 17 and move to New York's Palace Theater on March 11, 2006.
