Mariska Hargitay is pregnant

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 30 (UPI) -- "Law & Order: SVU" star Mariska Hargitay is expecting her first child with her husband, actor Peter Hermann, it was announced Wednesday.

Hargitay, 41, and Hermann, 38, met on the "SVU" set and married in August 2004.

A "Law and Order" publicist told "Access Hollywood" there were no plans to incorporate Hargitay's pregnancy into the show's storyline.
