OK! takes Hello! case to House of Lords

LONDON, Nov. 10 (UPI) -- The fierce battle between OK! and Hello! magazines over Catherine Zeta-Jones' wedding photos is going all the way to Britain's House of Lords.

Zeta-Jones and her husband, Michael Douglas, sold exclusive coverage rights of their November 2000 wedding to OK! for about $1.7 million.

A photographer crashed the reception and snapped unauthorized shots, which ended up in Hello! before the authorized OK! photo spread ran.

The couple and OK! won a court challenge against Hello!, but the decision was reversed by the Court of Appeal in June, which ordered OK! to pay about $3.4 million to Hello!, the BBC reported.

OK!, along with Zeta-Jones and Douglas, petitioned the House of Lords to render a final decision in the complicated case.
