LOS ANGELES, Oct. 26 (UPI) -- "Desperate Housewives" star Nicollette Sheridan has ended her engagement to actor Nicklas Soderblom, People magazine reported Wednesday.
Sheridan's publicist issued a statement saying the couple "parted ways after a year and a half."

Just a week ago, Sheridan laughed off rumors the couple were headed toward a split, People noted.
When asked by a People reporter to confirm or deny the rumors, Sheridan said: "They should get the facts right before they print things."
Sheridan has been married once, to former "L.A. Law" star Harry Hamlin from 1991 to 1992.
