LOS ANGELES, Aug. 13 (UPI) -- The CBS comedy "The King of Queens" will premiere in September back where it started eight years ago -- as part of the Monday night lineup.
Kevin James, Leah Remini and Jerry Stiller spent the last two seasons on Wednesday nights, which co-creator Michael J. Weithorn told Zap2it.com was kind of like being "the lone sitcom in Siberia."
Not many changes are planned for this season, James said.
Nicole Sullivan has left to co-star in ABC's "Hot Properties" and it's expected Ray Romano will return as a guest star. Other than that, fans can expect the same in year eight as it was at the onset.
"It's just a normal family sitcom," James says. "There's no crazy characters we have to add, or stunt casting, to keep this show shiny."
James and Remini both renegotiated their contracts earlier this year, putting them among the list of TV's highest-paid performers, Zap2it.com said.
