Sandra Bullock denies marriage reports

HOLLYWOOD, June 16 (UPI) -- Reports of actress Sandra Bullock's pending marriage to motorcycle maverick Jesse James of "Monster Garage" fame are "absolutely not true," a spokesman says.

The denial was sparked by an Us Weekly story that said the 40-year-old Bullock and the 35-year-old James were ready to marry July 16 in Santa Barbara, Calif.

However, a spokesperson for Bullock told Access Hollywood reports of the pending nuptials are "absolutely not true" and Bullock has no plans to get married.

Bullock and James have dated for about a year.
