Bi-coastal violence for The Game

NEW YORK, Feb. 1 (UPI) -- California authorities are investigating shootings at several properties owned by Jayceon Taylor, aka The Game of rap group G-Unit.

The Compton headquarters of Taylor's company, The Black Wall Street, was shot up along with several adjacent houses also owned by him, MTV.com reported.

Taylor was not present at the time of Thursday's shootings.

Meanwhile, Maryland authorities investigated an alleged Jan. 21 altercation between Taylor and an employee of WKYS-FM in Lanham, Md.

Taylor and his entourage allegedly assaulted WKYS DJ Zxulu after he made a remark about a mobile-phone earpiece Taylor's manager was using, MTV said.

WKYS' parent company, Radio One, banned the rapper's music from its 69 stations last week, but a spokesman for Taylor said the ban is no longer an issue and has been dropped.
