'Tears in Heaven' remake for tsunami aid

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 21 (UPI) -- An all-star remake of Eric Clapton's "Tears in Heaven" is in the works to raise money for Asian tsunami victims.

The recording -- being done on both sides of the pond -- will include Elton John, Rod Stewart, Kelly and Ozzy Osbourne, Phil Collins and Andrea Bocelli, RollingStone.com reported.

The project is being coordinated by Sharon Osbourne, wife of Ozzy and mom to Kelly.

Clapton wrote "Tears in Heaven" after his young son, Conor, fell out of a window and died in New York in 1991.
