WASHINGTON, Jan. 20 (UPI) -- Thirty-two big-name artists are featured on "Love Rocks," a collection of songs to benefit the Human Rights Campaign.

Yoko Ono, Christina Aguilera, the Dixie Chicks, Mandy Moore, Pink, Emmylou Harris, Cyndi Lauper and Melissa Etheridge are among the entertainers featured on the double-disc compilation due for release Feb. 25, Rolling Stone reports.

The organization is dedicated to fighting for equal rights for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered people. An issue that motivated the musicians is the constitutional battle to legally sanction same-sex marriage.

"The constitution of this country is based on human rights and justice and freedom," says Ono. "For (politicians) to say, 'OK, we're going to change the constitution so the gays can't get married,' I think it is outrageous."
