Michael Moore will prosecute hackers

LOS ANGELES, June 21 (UPI) -- U.S. filmmaker Michael Moore said hackers are breaking into his Web site and he will find them and pursue criminal prosecution.

MSNBC reported Monday that Moore's Web site that shows clips from his soon-to-be-released "Fahrenheit 9/11" keeps getting shut down.

"Some very sophisticated individuals have been hacking into and shutting down our Web site," he said. "It is an hourly fight to keep it up. We are going to find out who is doing this and we are going to pursue a criminal prosecution."

In addition, Moore said an Illinois theater owner, who will show the movie later this week, has received death threats.

"Not a day goes by where we don't have some new battle to fight thanks to those who are still working overtime to keep people from seeing this film," said Moore. "What's their problem? Are they worried about something?"
