LOS ANGELES, May 11 (UPI) -- Actor Tom Sizemore is hitting back at reports he recently tested positive for drugs in Los Angeles, the BBC reported Tuesday.
A prosecutor has said by testing "dirty" for drugs in March, the "Black Hawk Down" actor violated his parole for abusing his ex-girlfriend, Heidi Fleiss.
However, the 42-year-old actor's defense team dismissed the allegation.
"We're asking the court and the public to withhold judgment until we have a hearing and have the opportunity to prove that this allegation is bogus," Sizemore's lawyer, Mark Werksman, said.
A judge had postponed Sizemore's six-month jail sentence while he underwent treatment at a drug-rehabilitation facility.
Deputy City Attorney Robert Cha said he complained about the probation violation on April 29.
Although he did not specify the violation, Cha insisted, "I didn't file this motion for no reason, with nothing to support it."
