SACRAMENTO, March 4 (UPI) -- California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has reappointed actor-director Clint Eastwood to the board overseeing the state's parks.
Eastwood, and Schwarzenegger's brother-in-law Robert Sargent Shriver, who was also reappointed, have been members of the California State Parks and Recreation Commission since 2001 and their terms expired.

Also named to the panel are Ironstone Winery Vice President Gail Kautz and Elk Grove, Calif., Mayor Sophia Delia Scherman.
The governor praised Eastwood and Shriver for their "commitment to preserving the natural grandeur of California's landscapes for every resident of the state."
The appointments, which are unpaid positions, must be confirmed by the state Senate.
