LEEDS, England, Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Britain's 10th annual Leeds International Jazz Conference, to be held in April 2-4, will focus on jazz's place in the record industry.
The annual U.K. industry event includes lectures, discussions and artist performances at the Leeds College of Music.

The conference will include performances and-or workshops by some of Britain's leading contemporary jazz composers, with emphasis on original new works.
The live music program will feature performers Bob Mintzer, Frank Griffith, Al Wood, Anita Wardell, Sheila Tracy, Ian Darrington, Glenn Waite and Chris Perry.
