LOS ANGELES, Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Janet Jackson has decided not to accept the CBS offer to appear on Sunday night's Grammy telecast, Fox News reported on its Web site.
Fox reported CBS had offered to let Jackson to present a tribute to Luther Vandross if she apologized for baring her breast on last Sunday's Super Bowl half-time show.

In an exclusive report, Fox said Jackson decided she'd said she was sorry enough already and declined to be on the show. Patti Labelle will appear in her place.
Jackson's "partner in crime," however, Justin Timberlake, will read some kind of apology to the nation, so he can make a cameo during the Grammys, Fox said.
