"Playmakers," ESPN's irreverent take on life in the NFL, was nominated for best TV drama series, along with "Degrassi: The Next Generation," "Nip/Tuck," "Queer as Folk" and "Six Feet Under."

"It's All Relative," "Oliver Beene," "Reno 911!" "Sex and the City" and "Will & Grace" were nominated for outstanding comedy TV series.

There were two nominees for best feature film -- "Bend It Like Beckham" and "Under the Tuscan Sun." This year's GLAAD Media Awards will recognize, for the first time, reality TV and Spanish-language programs.

GLAAD also announced that it will present special awards to actresses Julianne Moore and Megan Mullally and filmmakers John Waters and Clive Barker. The awards will be presented in a series of ceremonies next spring in Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco.
