LONDON, Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Actress Gwyneth Paltrow has hinted she wants to marry pop star boyfriend Chris Martin, but is waiting for him to propose to her, a report said.
The Oscar-winning actress discussed her year-long relationship with Coldplay's frontman with the BBC Saturday.
Asked whether she plans to marry, she replied, "I don't know. I hope so."
Pressed on whether she would marry Chris Martin, the actress said, "I'm the wrong person to ask -- ask him."
Martin has consistently refused to use Paltrow's name when mentioning his girlfriend in interviews.
He even arrived separately at the London premiere of Paltrow's latest film, "Sylvia," earlier this month to avoid being photographed together.
This week, charges of malicious damage against the Coldplay frontman in Australia were dropped.
An Australian photographer had alleged the singer had attacked his car after the man had taken pictures of the pair on the beach.
In the summer it was reported the actress would marry Martin in the Hamptons in New York in autumn, at a property owned by film director Steven Spielberg.
