NEW ORLEANS, Sept. 12 (UPI) -- The White Stripes joined the music lineup for the 5th annual Voodoo Musical Experience, a three-day festival scheduled for Halloween weekend in New Orleans.
Thousands of fans will experience first-hand the critically acclaimed garage rock sound of this Detroit duo in New Orleans' City Park Sunday, Nov. 2. Joining more than 80 artists on three stages to produce a massive 90 hours of music, The White Stripes will help close out the much-anticipated music festival set to begin Oct. 31.
Other acts on the bill include 50 Cent, Marilyn Manson, Godsmack, Queens of the Stone Age, Staind, DJ Z Trip, Rusted Root, String Cheese Incident, Bad Boy Bill, Cypress Hill, The Roots, Mos Def, P.O.D., Gov't Mule, The Donnas, A Perfect Circle, Paul Oakenfold, and Ludacris.
