"He is having a private party with the band and friends in Prague," his spokesman told the British Broadcasting Corp.
Guests include Vaclav Havel, the dissident writer who was jailed by Communists before becoming Czech president, who said guests were being told the location "at the last minute".
Sunday, the Stones will play to 60,000 fans at the Prague National Stadium as part of the European leg of their 40 Licks tour.
Jagger is the second of the current line-up of the band to turn 60. Drummer Charlie Watts turned age 60 last year.
