Mighty Ducks, McInnis sign deal

ANAHEIM, Calif., July 25 -- Left wing Marty McInnis and the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim agreed to terms Tuesday on a one-year contract.

McInnis, 30, had 10 goals and 18 assists in 62 games for Anaheim last season.

The 6-2, 192-pounder came to the Mighty Ducks from Chicago for a 2000 fourth-round pick on Oct. 27, 1998. He has 130 goals and 201 assists in 556 career games.

Originally a 1988 eighth-round pick of the New York Islanders, McInnis spent his first five-plus seasons on Long Island before being dealt to Calgary in 1997. He was a member of the United States' 1992 Olympic team.

The Ducks also agreed to a one-year deal with center Marc Chouinard, who had 33 points in 70 games with the club's International Hockey League affiliate in Cincinnati.NEWLN:
