DENNIS, Mass., July 5 -- Graveside services will be held Wednesday on Cape Cod for Nicholas Bernard Curtis, the son of actor Tony Curtis. Curtis, a student at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, died unexpectedly Saturday at the age of 23.
The cause of death was not immediately determined. Officials said there was no cause of death indicated on the death certificate, and that the Massachusetts medical examiner is awaiting the results of toxicology tests, expected in five to six weeks. Curtis was born in London and lived in Los Angeles with his father before moving in 1983 to Dennis, Mass., where his mother, Leslie Curtis, lives. Besides his parents, Curtis is survived by four sisters, two brothers and a stepfather, Donald Peccerill of Dennis. A wake was scheduled for Tuesday night at the Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home in South Dennis. Services will be held Wednesday in the Quivet Neck Cemetery in Dennis.
