Flynn drops plans to run for governor

BOSTON, April 26 -- Ambassador Raymond Flynn's on-again, off- again campaign for governor of Massachusetts is off for good, at least in 1994. The former Boston mayor, who has been U.S. ambassador to the Vatican since last summer, ended months of speculation by announcing he will not challenge Republican Gov. William Weld this fall.
