CASTRIES, St. Lucia -- Dominican Deputy Prime Minister Charles Maynard will address a one-day seminar Saturday in St. Lucia on political union of the seven-nation Organization of Eastern Caribbean States, or OECS.
The session, organized by the Independent Committee for OECS Unity, will be attended by district groups and community leaders.

Maynard, Dominica's deputy prime minister, will address the seminar, along with committee chairman Hunter Francois.
OECS heads of government agreed in May 1987 to seek political unity.
