Singing star Marie Osmond has announced her engagement to...

PROVO, Utah -- Singing star Marie Osmond has announced her engagement to 33-year-old recording engineer Brian Blosil, a family spokesman announced.

Osmond, 26, met the Provo resident in January at the home of a mutual friend, spokesman Ron Clark said Wednesday. He added no date has been set for the wedding.

Osmond married formerBrigham Young University basketball star Steve Craig on June 26, 1982, in the Salt Lake City Mormon Temple. They were divorced after two years of marriage and Osmond was awarded custody of their son.

In May 1979, Osmond had announced her engagement to Jeff Crayton, a former Mormon Church missionary from Los Angeles. They had planned an August 1979 wedding but canceled the engagement after just two months.
