CBS edged out NBC in the prime time network...

NEW YORK -- CBS edged out NBC in the prime time network ratings last week as the repeat season was in full swing with 50 reruns out of the 65 rated shows.

The A.C. Nielsen prime time ratings for the week ending June 10 gave CBS a 12.4 rating and a 23 percent share of the viewing audience.

NBC tied CBS in the share of audience, but scored slightly lower in the ratings with a 12.3. ABC was at the bottom with an 11.1 rating and a 21 percent share.

Among the top 10 shows, only three were not repeats -- '60 Minutes' on CBS and ABC's '20-20' and Wednesday movie, 'Moment by Moment.'

In the evening news category, 'CBS Evening News with Dan Rather' won with an 10.2 rating and a 23 share. The 'NBC Nightly News' came in second with an 8.9 rating and a 20 share, while ABC's 'World News Tonight' had an 8.2 rating with an 18 share.

The Top 10 prime time shows for the week ending June 10, according to the A.C. Nielsen Co., were:
