NEW YORK -- A Frank Lloyd Wright-designed house believed demolished 30 years ago has been found in sections in a basement north of New York City, a published report said today.

The New York Times said the house has been stored in sections beneath the home of David T. Henken, a former Wright apprentice outside Pleasantville.

The two-bedroom house had been originally erected to demonstrate Wright's concept of a small home that could be bought at a moderate price. It was dismantled in 1954.

The house was originally erected on the site in Manhattan now occupied by the Guggenheim Museum, which Wright designed.

Henken said he would donate the house to public television station WNET, which will auction it this weekend as part of its fund-raising effort.

Some lists of Wright's works has said the house was destroyed.
