The two men were part of an all-weather attack squadron flying out of the El Toro Marine Corps Air Station in Orange County. The spokesman said the weather was clear at the time of the accident.

The San Bernardino County coroner said both men suffered multiple traumatic injuries, but were not burned when the jet crashed.
