BENNINGTON, Vt. -- A memorial service will be held Saturday for Lesley Frost Ballantine, daughter of the late poet Robert Frost.
She died July 9 in Fairfield, Conn., at the age of 84. She was cremated and her ashes will be buried at the Frost family plot at the Old First Church Cemetery in Old Bennington.

Born in Lawrence, Mass., Mrs. Ballantine was one of five children in the Frost family. As a child, she lived in Derry, N.H. and later lived in England.
She was a former member of the Brookings Institute in WasOington and a State Department worker in Spain. As a sidelight, she wrote children's books.
