BISHOP, Calif. -- Actor Robert Bray, who played forest ranger Corey Stuart in the later years of TV's long-running series 'Lassie,' died Monday at his home, authorities said. He was 65.

From 1964-1969, Bray played the role of the forest ranger who was one of Lassie's last masters in the series, which ran from 1954 to 1970.

'He had been feeling poorly all morning but refused to seek medical attention,' Inyo County Deputy Coroner David Buck said. 'It appears as if he was working up to a heart attack, but until the autopsy we won't be able to say for certain.'

He said an autopsy would be performed to determine the exact cause of death.

Bray is survived by his wife and six children.
