Beijing Olympics: Moments from women's single figure skating (17 images)

The women's single figure skating competition at the Beijing Winter Olympics is shadowed in scandal, with 15-year-old Russian skater Kamila Valieva testing positive for a banned substance. She qualified for the short program on February 15, 2022 and is the favorite to win gold. Japan's Wakaba Higuchi and Americans Alysa Liu, Mariah Bell and Karen Chen also also finished in the top 25, qualifying for the free skate competition.
