Jim Williams (born 8 December 1968) is a rugby union coach and former player. Williams is currently assistant coach to the Australian national rugby union team.

Born in the town of Young in country New South Wales, Williams grew up playing rugby league. It was not until he joined the army at the age of 17 that he began to play rugby union. Williams later played club rugby in his hometown for Young RFC before moving to Brisbane where he played for West Brisbane.
