BAGHDAD, May 13 (UPI) -- Twenty-five people were killed Tuesday and 80 others wounded in a coordinated attack in which eight cars laden with explosives detonated during morning rush hour in the north, east, and center of Baghdad.
Two of the car bombs exploded in a northeastern suburb of Sadr City, killing six and injuring 13. Two other car bombs in the nearby Baladiyat neighborhood killed three people. In Jamila, a car bomb killed three others. Five were killed in the northern district of Urr. Maamil in the east and Karrada in the center were also targeted with car bombs.
