Grenade attack on mosque in Pakistan kills 4 children

Pakistani police are investigating a grenade attack against a mosque in Karachi that killed four children and injured 16 others.

KARACHI, Pakistan, April 28 (UPI) -- A grenade attack on a mosque in Karachi on Monday killed four children and injured 16 others.

Pakistani police noted that the deceased, between the ages of 8 and 12, were at the mosque at the time of the attack attending religious classes.

No one has yet claimed responsibility for launching the grenade.

Monday's grenade attack follows a bombing on Friday that targeted a government motorcade in Karachi, killing four people and injuring 30.
