KERALA, India, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Police in India said they have seized hundreds of pirated DVDs of a controversial Bollywood spy thriller "Vishwaroopam."

One police officer was injured when shopkeepers resisted the raids in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, Press Trust of India said Saturday.

Muslim groups protested the way Islam is presented in "Vishwaroopam" -- directed by and starring Kamal Hassan -- DNAIndia.com said.

A sequel is planned for this year, Hassan said.
