ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, Aug. 19 (UPI) -- Two U.S. drones attacked tribal areas of Pakistan Sunday, killing seven, bringing the death toll from such attacks during the weekend to 14.

The two attacks by the unmanned aircraft Sunday and one on Saturday were carried out in North Waziristan, where the United States wants Pakistan to initiate an anti-terrorist operation, The Hindu reported.

All three Predator drone attacks were aimed at the Shawal Valley, where Taliban leader Hafiz Gul Bahadar recently made polio immunizations punishable, officials said.

Pakistani officials protested the drone attack Saturday, but initially did not said anything about Sunday's attacks.
