6.4-magnitude quake rocks Indonesia

JAKARTA, July 25 (UPI) -- A 6.4-magnitude earthquake rocked Indonesia's Sumatra Island early Wednesday but there was no tsunami warning, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

It was not immediately known if there were any injuries or damage.

The quake was reported 7:27 a.m., local time, 21 miles north-west of Sinabang, on the island of Simeulue off Sumatra's west coast, USGS said.
