YANGON, Myanmar, Nov. 15 (UPI) -- Myanmar opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi said Monday she does not fear being arrested again and will keep fighting for democracy.
"Actually, I don't think about it," Suu Kyi, who was released from house arrest Saturday, told CNN.
"I may be detained again," she said, noting she's been in and out of house arrest over the last two decades. "I just do what I can do at the moment."
"We would like to form a network of people working for democracy," she told CNN, She said she seeks dialogue with "those who are in a position to do something, to change the situation in Burma for the better."
Myanmar was formerly called Burma.
Suu Kyi said she has had no contact with Gen. Than Shwe, head of Myammar's military junta.
She said her National League for Democracy, although it did not take part in recent elections, will investigate charges of vote fraud.
Suu Kyi, who has not seen her children in many years, said her youngest son is in Bangkok awaiting a visa to vist her but had not yet received one.
